National Apprenticeship Week

East Sussex College encourages students to get involved with National Apprenticeship Week (5-11 February), to find out whether the Apprenticeship route is the one for you. Whether you are interested in becoming an apprentice or are an employer looking to recruit new and additional apprenticeship posts, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved!

Each year, the College supports the National Apprenticeship Week campaign to display the pros of on-the-job training and help young people to make the best decisions about starting an apprenticeship after school or college.

With over 1,600 apprentices studying with us at present, we know how valued these training routes are to both our students and employers and love to share these fantastic opportunities near and far!

This year’s theme is ‘skills for life’. The theme aims to encourage everyone to consider how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and employers to develop a workforce with future ready skills.

Throughout National Apprenticeship Week, the College will be sharing apprentice success stories across all social channels via @WeAreESCG. Keep an eye out and make sure you use #NAW2024 in any relevant posts you share!
