This qualification is a BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Engineering. It follows the Engineering BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma.

On this course you will continue to develop your knowledge of a specific range of engineering subjects and you will complete a major project including both practical and theoretical aspects. You will complete assignments related to each unit of the qualification as well as a substantial project. You can achieve grades of Pass, Merit and Distinction.
Higher National Certificate (L4) in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering
HND (L5) in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or to employment in jobs which lead to further high-skill work-based training such as higher apprenticeships.
