Successful completion of current course and achievement of level 4 (C) in GCSE English.
You will be assessed via internally assessed assignments and work based competency for Unit 4. You will be assessed through a range of internally assessed units. Learners must achieve a minimum of 120 credits (of which at least 65 must be at level 4) on their programme of learning to be awarded a BTEC Level 4 HNC and a minimum of 240 credits (of which at least 125 must be at level 5 or above) to be awarded a BTEC Level 5 HND. The assessment of BTEC Higher National qualifications is criterion-referenced and centres are required to assess learners’ evidence against published learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
