What will I study?

During our exciting new 12-week course, we will bring you up to speed with TV and streaming services by providing you with the modern skills you need for modern jobs in the digital industries sector.

You'll study with us for four days per week and learn, practise, and develop your research, scriptwriting, filming, editing, and broadcasting skills. Then towards the end of the course, you will put your skills to the test by streaming your own programme on TV, websites, and social media.

We work closely with our friends at Latest TV in Brighton, which will give you real-world experience working alongside professionals within the streaming studios.

This course is held at our Newhaven campus as well as at Latest TV in Brighton.

How will I be assessed?

You will be internally assessed on course work and assignments.

What qualification will I achieve?

Once you have completed this course, you will achieve a BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Creative Media Production (QCF).

What can I do after completing this course?

Once you have finished this course, you will have the knowledge, skills and experience you need to start employment in this growing sector, including nNight clubs, music bars, TV stations, event management for events, such as live concerts and festivals, or the many other businesses moving into streaming as part of their new business offer.

Are there any extra costs?

The fees for this course are £2,882.00, but you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover the cost.

Additional Info

This is a full-time course, taught four days per week for 12 weeks. Three days will be based at our Newhaven campus and one day at the Latest TV studios in Brighton.
