Develop your coding skills using the C# programming language alongside the Unity game engine to create custom scripts for your game. We use industry standard software and cutting-edge hardware such as Oculus VR, motion capture suits and high-end Nvidia graphic cards along with a twin-monitor setup to ensure you have the opportunity to develop your games as efficiently as possible.

What will I study?

This course is the perfect start for a career in the games industry or further study at university. What previous qualifications or experience do I need?

Minimum five grade 4-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 2 course, and English and/or maths at grade 4.

How will I be assessed?

The course is project/assignment based and there are no exams. You will be continually assessed throughout the course and the year will culminate in a final project which will be graded as a pass, merit or distinction. This course is 100% coursework and you will present your work in a range of formats You will be assessed on your research, development and experimentation and final outcomes and you will be encouraged to develop your work and professional practice through evaluation and self-reflection.

What qualification will I achieve?

UAL Diploma in Creative media Technology Year 1 UAL Extended Diploma in Creative media Technology Year 2. This is a full time course and is equivalent to 3 A levels over 2 years
