East Sussex College Celebrates Recognition at StudyTravel Awards 2026

East Sussex College is celebrating its recognition as a finalist in the prestigious StudyTravel Secondary School Awards 2026, following the recent awards ceremony in London.

While the College did not take home the top prize on this occasion, being named a finalist in the European School category remains a significant achievement - particularly as East Sussex College was the only further education college shortlisted.

The category was otherwise made up of boarding, private, international and independent schools, with the FE and state sector notably underrepresented.

This recognition highlights the College’s growing reputation in the international education sector and its ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality experiences for students from around the world.

Katie Wingfield, Senior International Officer at East Sussex College, said: “We’re incredibly proud to have been recognised as a finalist alongside such well-established international and independent schools. It’s a real testament to the hard work of our staff and the success of our international students.”

The awards ceremony took place in London as part of the StudyTravel Secondary Focus conference, bringing together leading organisations from across the global study abroad sector.

Being shortlisted at this level reinforces East Sussex College’s position as a leading provider of international education within the further education sector.
