New for 2026 is the exciting “Petrol & Pooches” Fun Dog Show, which is now officially confirmed and set to be one of the standout attractions of the day. With trophies and rosettes up for grabs, four-legged friends will take centre stage in a range of fun categories, including Waggiest Tail, Best Trick, Cutest Puppy and Best in Show.
With just a £1 entry per dog, all proceeds from the dog show will go to support St Wilfrid’s Hospice. Across the past two events, the show has raised an incredible £800 for the hospice, and organisers are hoping to go even further this year and beat that total.
Vanessa Packham, Assistant Principal, Eastbourne campus at East Sussex College, said: “We are delighted to welcome everyone back to our Cars and Motorcycles Show. Last year’s event was a fantastic success, and this year promises to be even bigger and better. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate our passion for cars and motorcycles, showcase our students’ skills, and bring the community together, while also supporting the important work of St Wilfrid’s Hospice.”
Whether you’re a petrolhead, planning a fun-filled family day out, or simply looking to make the most of the bank holiday weekend, there’s something for everyone at East Sussex College this May.
