Brighton and Hove Hairstylist Emma Hawkes is bringing her salon services to Evolve Eco Salon in Lewes on a Friday afternoon as students complete work experience in customer service.
Clients can benefit from guest stylist, Emma Hawkes, who has over 20 years' industry experience, and brings her knowledge and expertise of running Oasis Hairdressing to offer new and existing clients her salon services, based out of the Lewes campus on Friday afternoons.
Emma, who also teaches hair and beauty at the college, says, “Our Level 2 students are looking for new clients to come into our eco salon to help them complete their work experience and customer service modules. As a bonus, the clients will be getting high quality treatments from my Brighton-based salon.
“Our Lewes campus is well situated for clients and offers free, easy parking too. We have all the facilities here at Evolve as we're a real working salon. We offer a relaxed and welcoming environment for hair, beauty and make-up treatments for clients.”
Emma is passionate about hair care without harmful chemicals and educating people about high quality hairdressing. At Oasis she uses products with no ammonia, parabens and sulphates. Products are not tested on animals and are enhanced with argan oil to reduce damage to the hair.
"Our natural ethos makes us a popular choice for our clients in Brighton and Hove, and this extends to Lewes. People are increasingly more conscious about the ingredients in the products they use and want to choose sustainable products. Our products and services are also well suited for clients who have undergone treatments like chemotherapy; we are very considerate of clients.
“Operating from East Sussex College Lewes on a Friday afternoon will enable Lewes residents to experience Brighton-quality services on their doorstep. Students from the college will also fulfil customer service industry placements under my guidance as part of their course at this time, and will be greeting clients, taking bookings and observing treatments.”
Oasis Hairdressing by Emma Hawkes is coming to Evolve at East Sussex College on Friday afternoons. New clients receive a 25% discount on their first service. All services are by Emma Hawkes. Level 2 Hair and Beauty students from the college will be fulfilling customer service industry placements.
