In an enchanting evening event, students demonstrated their creativity and skill while raising funds for charity.
Crafting elaborate decor and stunning makeup designs, the students welcomed over 100 guests to immerse themselves in the darkly enchanting world of Tim Burton's cinematic universe. From interactive displays to costume contests, attendees were treated to a range of activities celebrating Burton's iconic style.
The event not only highlighted the artistic talents of the students but also fostered collaboration across different departments within the College. Hospitality & Catering students played a crucial role by providing delectable canapés from Kings restaurant.
Vanessa Packham, Assistant Principal at East Sussex College, said, “I was delighted to attend this amazingly creative event. Students, supported by staff, transformed the college restaurant into a runway, turning hair and makeup into pure theatre! They didn't just style hair; they created dreams and confidence. It's proof that learning goes way beyond books - it was all about letting your creativity shine!
“This show was a true demonstration of collaboration across a range of vocational areas and was attended by over 100 guests, with money raised and donated to charity. Super proud of all that was achieved.”
