On one of the sunniest days on record, Ardingly’s annual agricultural show, Spring Live!, took place with over 16,000 visitors passing through its gates. Armed with sun hats and ice cream, visitors meandered through and marvelled at all the stalls and activities abuzz on the grounds.
The soundtrack to this colourful day was provided by a number of talented musicians studying at Sussex Downs College. A designated music space was sponsored by the College, complete with hay bales for the audience and a stage for performers to entertain the crowd. The live music played by SDC students drew in visitors who were impressed by such strong musicianship. Talented acts included: singer songwriter Jack Buster Weston; folk aficionados Pianjo & Co; soon-to-be pop sensation, Morgan James and soulful songstress, Cat Rose.
The day was an enjoyable outing for families and couples, made all the more so with music wafting by from Sussex Downs College’s music space.
