You’ll learn how the body works and how to use massage to help it perform, recover and heal. Topics include:
Minimum five grade 4-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 2 course, and English Language or maths at grade 4.
You will be assessed by:
VTCT Level 3 Technical Specialist in Sports Massage Therapy (Certificate), a nationally recognised qualification that shows employers and clients you have the skills and knowledge to work safely and professionally.
Once qualified, you could:
Students are required to purchase their own towels, massage oils etc for their course. In addition, students are required to purchase uniform that they will wear to lessons, and when treating clients. Total cost is approx £150.
This is a one-year course, which students must pass all assessments to achieve the qualification. This is an ideal course for those students who have finished a personal training course, or a sport science related course and wish to build their qualifications and skills.
