What will I study?

You will study 11 units in total during the year .Topics covered will be Enterprise in the Business World, Finance for business, Promoting a Brand , Sales and personal selling, Recruitment, Selection & Employment ,Principles of marketing, Small business planning , Introducing Project Management ,Delivering & Improving Customer Service, Working in Business teams and Planning, forecasting & recording business transactions.

What previous qualifications or experience do I need?

Minimum four grade 3-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 1 course, and English or maths at grade 3.

How will I be assessed?

This is a mixed assessment qualification, and you will be assessed through assignments, reports, team work, presentations and examinations.

What qualification will I achieve?

Business Diploma Level 2

What can I do after completing this course?

This course will help to open doors to progression into further study and responsibility within the workplace.

You may wish to study an HND in Business at the College, or further study in law, accounting, marketing or HR, or an advanced apprenticeship.

With additional training, you can progress into roles including:

There will be a cost of for books , resources and trips and visits to various trade fairs and industry linked organisations such as the World Travel Market and external business courses.

Additional Info

This is a fast-paced but enjoyable course that requires students to take ownership of their work in order to achieve the highest grades possible. You will be expected to study independently for at least 6 hours a week with the support of your academic team. This course will give you the work-readiness skills required for further study or the working environment.
