The T Level Technical Qualification in Management and Administration allows learners to gain an understanding of what is needed to work within an administrative or managerial role. Topics covered include Business Context, People, Quality Compliance, Project, and Change Management.
This qualification is aimed at learners aged 16-19-years old who wish to work in any sector within an administrative or managerial role.

Students will develop an understanding of a broad range of issues relevant to the sector, including:
Business context – an overview of organisational cultures and values, different types of internal and external stakeholder, different forms of governance and the impact of organisations on society and the environment.
Project and change management – an understanding of the common change management theories and models and how to support and improve projects.
Business behaviours – the importance of good communication and adapting social communication styles to professional standards and according to purpose, medium and audience.
Quality and compliance – the importance of maintaining and improving quality in all aspects of public and private sector organisations.
In addition to the core content, each student will also complete at least one module of occupation-specific content.
The specialisms available in the T Level in Management and Administration are:
Business support Business improvement Team leadership and management
Minimum five grade 4-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 2 course, and English or maths at grade 4.
Two externally set exams covering knowledge from the Management and Administration core One employer-set project covering knowledge and skills from the Management and Administration core One occupational specialism

T Levels are new courses which will follow GCSEs and will be equivalent to three A Levels. These two-year courses have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares learners for work. Additional mandatory parts of the T Level that need to be achieved: A 315-hour (45 day) minimum industry placement A requirement for students to work towards the attainment of maths and English if they have not already achieved grade 4 at GCSE, as they do on other 16 to 19 programmes
This course is currently ony available to students aged 16-18 on the 31st August of the year of entry.
