Stacey Beard, Supported Internship Coordinator at East Sussex College, said: “As a team we are proud to have supported them on their journey into paid work. We also welcomed our 2025/26 cohort and their families. They are just beginning their journey, and the celebration showed what’s possible when support, belief, and opportunity come together.

East Sussex College celebrates 10 years of the Project SEARCH programme which has provided a one year supported internship for young people aged between 18-25 who have an Education, Health and Care Plan.

Sylvi is one of just four people worldwide selected for the Aiducatius Creativity Internship - a charitable initiative run by Educatius to support students at St. Martin’s School in The Gambia. During the internship, Sylvi co-lead creative workshops using storytelling and theatre to inspire young learners.
