How to Apply

Thank you for choosing East Sussex College. Please find below the two easy steps you need to make to apply for a place on one of our courses.

Step 1

Complete and Return Your Application

Please click on the link below and save it to your own computer. Complete the application form in full and then email us the document and a copy of your ID card or passport and supporting academic certificates (if applicable). Please note that European Union ID Cards are only valid for travel to the UK until October 2021.

Step 2

Payment

EU Students

When making your application to secure your course place you should pay a deposit of £1,000.00 or your full fees if less than this. Should you wish to book accommodation please add a further £60.00 Accommodation Arrangement Fee. Deposit fees are deducted from the final amount payable. You will be required to pay for your fees in full at the start of the course. When the UK leaves the European Union on 31 December 2020 you should follow the procedure below for any application you make after the date.

International Students

When making your application you should pay a deposit of £2000 to secure your course place (or your full fees if less than this). Should you wish to book accommodation please add a further £60.00 Accommodation Arrangement Fee. Please note that you will be required to pay your fees in full at the start of your course and deposit payments are deducted from the final amount payable. However if you are from Hong Kong and in receipt of the Overseas Education Allowance (OEA), termly payments can be arranged at a cost of £15.00 per term.

Important Information About Fees

Please see the price lists below for accommodation, airport collection and tuition fees. Your £1000 deposit will go towards your first term tuition fees (EU students only until 31 December 2020). Tuition fees should be paid in full on or before enrolment.

Please note that you may be required to buy course materials such as books.

All courses, options and activities are offered subject to sufficient student numbers on enrolment.

  • Your accommodation details
  • Your airport collection details (if requested)
  • A detailed pre-arrival pack

Enrolment

It is highly recommended that you attend the enrolment programme as it will help you to adjust to college life and make new friends.

You will receive a full induction including:

  • An English language assessment
  • A tour of the campus and local area
  • Academic guidance

Please let us know if you are unable to attend.

If You Change Your Mind

The deposit and tuition fees will only be refunded under exceptional circumstances as defined by the college. If you are declined a Student Visa you will be required to send us a copy of your visa rejection letter. We reserve the right to keep the deposit if there is any evidence that the visa application was incomplete, not genuine or truthful. The Accommodation Arrangement fee is non-refundable.
