Our Pathways programme is designed to support young people aged 16–19 with little or no formal qualifications, helping them build the confidence, skills, and experience needed to progress onto a suitable course within the college that is appropriate to your needs.
Through a blend of practical learning, vocational experience, and personal development, you’ll explore different industries and discover what inspires you. You’ll also work towards Entry 3 qualifications while improving your English and maths and developing essential employability and social skills.

You’ll gain hands-on experience through real-world projects that reflect the demands of the workplace. Our dedicated team will support you with careers advice, helping you identify your strengths and plan your next steps. You’ll also benefit from visits from industry professionals, who will share insights into their careers and offer guidance on how to succeed in your chosen field.
As part of the programme, you’ll take part in a community project, which is a chance to make a positive impact while developing teamwork, creativity, and leadership skills. Whether it’s organising a local event, creating a campaign, or designing a service to support others, you’ll have the freedom to shape the project in a way that reflects your interests and values.
