The Go Further Team support young people to explore higher education such as university and other Level 4 options.

Our aim is to help our students navigate the barriers they may face in their progression, enabling them to make a well-informed choice for their future.

A successful Peer Coaching Programme...

...that recruited and trained 70 students from a variety of different curriculum areas across Eastbourne/Lewes/Hastings. These students provide study skills support 1:1 or group basis to other students from their curriculum area. A particular success has seen the Peer Coaches supporting learners resitting their GCSE Maths and English qualifications which are now an essential for progression.

The Peer coach role is a paid dual role that also requires students to support key college events and to support learners transitioning from school to college life.

Hear about our student peer-coaching model and how it works to support study skills, revision techniques and boosts confidence.

Liaison Coaches

Over the last two years we have seen 320 1:1 progression support sessions with Liaison Coaches who are L6 careers qualified or currently working towards the qualification.
