Rosie has continued to excel since leaving the College this summer, having already landed her dream role as cabin crew for EasyJet.
Speaking to the College about her new ventures in the industry, Rosie said, “I got the job on the day of my interview, it was a great feeling knowing that all the hard work paid off and they thought my interview went well too.
“I love the people in my job, I feel like there’s no other people I could get along with so well, the cabin crew. We’re so friendly and all enjoy travelling. Getting to talk about your passions everyday with new people is great.”
Rosie stressed the influence that her course has had on her career already, and mentioned the unwavering support of her tutors.
“My college course set me up for success. It made my training with EasyJet stress free and more enjoyable,” said Rosie. “I met a lot of great people in my course that I still have contact with now as we’re all on the same career path. My tutors were a big highlight to the course, we got along really well. They told us stories of when they travelled as crew, providing us with an insight into the job we were applying for.”
Speaking on her advice to young people aspiring to become cabin crew, Rosie said, “My advice is to take the cabin crew course and apply to an airline when it becomes available. This way you know what to expect and you can have more fun in your training!”
