AoC National College’s Week 2025 - Building Brighter Futures

East Sussex College is once again celebrating AoC’s National Colleges Week 2025, a campaign dedicated to recognising the brilliant work that colleges, its staff and students do.

The National Colleges Week campaign aims to recognise the brilliant things that colleges do, day in, day out, to build communities, boost businesses, and support individuals. This year’s theme is ‘Building Brighter Futures’.

Throughout the week, each day will focus on one of the government’s key missions, highlighting the essential role colleges play in creating brighter futures for their students, supporting their staff, and contributing to national priorities:

  • Boosting economic growth (Monday 3 March)
  • Leading the way in green energy (Tuesday 4 March)
  • Making communities safer (Wednesday 5 March)
  • Removing barriers to opportunity (Thursday 6 March)
  • Strengthening the NHS for the future (Friday 7 March)

Throughout National Colleges Week this year, ESC’s social platforms will be sharing positive success stories from alumni, business partnerships and more!

Rebecca Conroy, CEO and Principal at East Sussex College, said, “East Sussex College is proud to be part of AoC’s National Colleges Week campaign. It's so important to acknowledge the dedication of our students and staff throughout the College, and to recognise the beneficial influence that our brilliant Further Education sector has within our local communities."
