The team initially collected £1,485 through a series of fundraising activities, with a cheque formally presented to the charity at the College’s Final Hurrah Dinner. The event not only marked a celebratory close to the academic year but also sparked further generosity, raising an additional £80 on the night.
Wayfinder Woman, a charity dedicated to helping women build confidence and transform their lives through coaching, mentoring, and events, has been a cause close to the hearts of students and staff throughout the year.
The Business Services team says, “We’re so proud of what we’ve achieved together this year in support of Wayfinder Woman. It’s been fantastic to see staff and students across Catering, Hair, and Beauty come together for such an important cause. Raising over £1,500 is a real testament to the generosity and team spirit within our departments.”
Thank you to everyone who took part and donated, and a huge well done to the Catering, Hair, and Beauty teams for their continued commitment to giving back to the community.
