Through hands-on experience with industry-standard software, he’s building the foundations for a future in game design.
“My favourite part of the course is practical because I really enjoy making my own things,” James shared. “The goal for me is to work in the industry directly after my course, and once I get a better laptop at home, I can continue to develop my 3D modelling skills. If you’re looking to work in areas like game design, I’d say this is the perfect course to choose!”
At East Sussex College, students like James get to work with cutting-edge tools and software, including Blender, to bring their creative ideas to life. “All the equipment is up-to-date and reliable, and we’re using software like Blender. It’s very helpful to develop your skills.”
With expert tutor support, structured guidance, and access to the latest technology, the Games, Art & Animation course is designed to prepare students for exciting careers in the gaming and creative industries.
James added, “I’ve been supported very well by my tutors, they’ve provided all the necessary information that I need and helped to create templates for work. They’ve set perfect guidelines for us to work from.”
