Staff and students celebrate on results day

East Sussex College students celebrated receiving their A-Level, T-Level and Technical & Professional results today, marking the culmination of two years of commitment and dedication!

East Sussex College achieved a remarkable milestone in 2022, being among the exclusive group of only 50 T-Levels providers nationwide to receive results. For 2023, this marked a significant step forward for students dedicated to pursuing technical education in the second year of T-Levels.

Since the launch of T-Levels in 2021, the College has expanded its offerings, providing a diverse range of exciting opportunities for students. The ever-growing selection of courses ensures that aspiring learners have access to a comprehensive array of subjects, with new additions continually enriching the curriculum. Students enrolled on T-Level courses have demonstrated remarkable performance, with an impressive 83% achieving Distinction or Merit grades - almost 14% higher than the national average. The overall T-Level pass-rate was 91.4%, higher than the national average.

The College’s A-Level students at the Eastbourne, Hastings and Lewes campuses also achieved fantastic results with the student’s hard work being rewarded after two years of studies. Forty two A-Level courses had a 100% pass-rate highlighting the quality of provision on offer at the College, fantastic news for all students and staff who worked tirelessly throughout the academic year.

A remarkable 100% pass-rate was achieved across 46 Level 3 Vocational courses. This exceptional feat includes UAL with an 99.9% pass-rate, NCFE maintaining a perfect 100% pass-rate, and BTEC securing a 94% pass-rate.
