ESC Alumna Makes Professional Debut in Starlight Express
East Sussex College Performing Arts and Musical Theatre Alumna, Ashlyn Weekes, has been cast in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express for her professional debut!
Following her studies at ESC, Ashlyn has been cast in the Starlight Express for her professional debut - set to open this June! Ashlyn is currently in her third year at The Urdang, City University of London where she went on to study a BA (Hons) after leaving ESC’s Lewes campus.
Ashlyn took to social media to share the news, saying, “So excited to finally announce that I am joining the cast of the brand new London production of Starlight Express. What a magical show to make my professional debut in, midway through my final year of drama school! Little Ash would be so proud right now!”
The Performing Arts department is planning a student trip to see her perform and show their support!
