Beyond the showcase of vehicles, the event raised around £500 for St Wilfred’s Hospice, and also featured a variety of attractions. Attendees were treated to student-led automotive projects, engaging fire brigade demonstrations, and trade showcases. The highlight of the day was the thrilling convoy ride, where participants drove their prized vehicles outside the campus, much to the delight of spectators.
Visitors were also invited to vote for their favourite vehicles, adding an interactive element to the show. The event provided a platform for showcasing the talents and hard work of the students, whose projects were met with admiration and praise.
Dan Bird, event organiser and Motor Vehicle tutor at East Sussex College, said, "We had a great turn out for our very first custom & classic car and bike show. Over 100 stunning vehicles and around 60 motorcycles showed up, along with east sussex fire and rescue who put on a great road safety display for us all.
“We raised around £500 for the incredible St Wilfred’s Hospice on the day. We can't wait to do it again next year...bigger and even better!"
Mark your calendars for next year, as the Cars and Motorcycles Breakfast Morning promises to become an annual tradition at East Sussex College!
