The event was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and career-focused skills, with students across multiple digital courses sharing their work with the public.
Showcasing work from both Year 1 and Year 2 students on the Level 3 Animation & Illustration and Game Development courses, as well as Year 2 Creative Media Production and Year 1 Media T-Level learners, the exhibition was bursting with originality and talent.
From original short animations, films, and games, to character design, comics, concept art, branding, photography, and marketing projects – the event reflected the diverse strengths of each course.
A standout moment was the live gaming tournament, hosted by students from the college’s successful Esports course, with exciting prizes kindly provided by Scan Computers.
Throughout the day, students confidently spoke with visitors, including industry professionals from organisations like Brighton Animation Festival and Buff Motion, as well as friends, family, college staff, and alumni.
The Creative department at ESC Lewes said: “Feedback was extremely positive, with visitors impressed by the variety of work on show, and the students were praised for their professionalism, imagination and originality. Congratulations to our vibrant student group for putting on such an inspiring and impressive event!”
