With the theme “Into the Future,” the annual event gave students the chance to show off their skills and creativity in a professional setting, transforming the college’s restaurant space into a buzzing hub of colour, glamour, and talent.
Models hit the catwalk styled by the students themselves, who had worked hard behind the scenes to bring their futuristic visions to life – from bold makeup looks to intricate hairstyles and themed outfits.
With everything from high-fashion editorial concepts to era-inspired styles reimagined through a modern lens, the show was a celebration of the techniques students have developed across their course – including cutting, colouring, styling, makeup application, and client care.
The evening also gave guests a glimpse into what it’s like to study Hair & Beauty at ESC, with a supportive atmosphere helping to boost confidence and build experience.
Allan Hyatt, Deputy Head of Curriculum for Business Services, Hair, Beauty & Catering, said, “The students put in an incredible amount of effort and creativity – the standard was outstanding. It’s always inspiring to see them grow in confidence and showcase their talent in such a professional way.”
Over 100 tickets were sold in aid of the Women’s Wayfinder charity, raising an impressive £665 on the night – a fantastic achievement made possible by the brilliant hair and beauty team, with an extra special thanks to Allan Hyatt for overseeing the spectacular event.
