What's your go-to recipe?
"I trust everything BBC good food have to offer – if I ever need to get a recipe, I know they will be straightforward to follow!"
Thin crepes or fluffy US-style?
"I like both. Thin crepes deserve lemon and sugar or Nutella. Fluffy pancakes need tasty fresh fruit, Greek yogurt and honey"
Sweet or savoury?
"Definitely sweet – I understand the savoury option but it's not my cup of tea!"
How many will you be dishing up this pancake day?
"I’ll be making mine this weekend when I have some time – mine will be served with tasty smoked streaky bacon and maple syrup!"
What should we try with our pancakes this year?
"Just be creative – make a point of looking through your cupboards and fridge to see what tasty stuff there Is you can use!"
What's the most common mistake you see being made?
"Too hot a pan – you don’t need the pan to be too hot - medium heat works fine. Too hot and the pancake will cook too fast, stopping it from turning into that nice big round pancake you want!"
Is flipping a must?
"No – use a spatula if you don’t feel confident. You don’t need a pancake pan, I think they’re a gimmick, but a non-stick pan with a little bit of oil will do the job."
