The Premier League side is backing our initiative to provide a range of fully-funded courses and qualifications to help support economic recovery across the county.
Qualifications in Digital Skills, LEAN Management, Equality & Diversity, and Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace have been designed to offer the skills and resilience to job-seekers, furloughed staff, and businesses so that they can adapt to the current challenges that the pandemic has created.
Russ Wood, Head of Commercial at Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club, said, “The pandemic has affected many local Sussex businesses, so we’re pleased to support Sussex Skills Solutions’ initiative. It’s a fantastic opportunity for employers to upskill their workforce during this particularly difficult and challenging time.”
Captain Lewis Dunk added, “This is a great initiative from Sussex Skills Solutions. As a Sussex-based business it is great to see them helping the local economy recover from the effects of the pandemic.”
The courses provide nationally-recognised qualifications, which can be achieved in 8-12 weeks. They are available to study online through escg.theskillsnetwork.com, and offer one-to-one support and assistance.
