The challenge? To produce a report or poster on the future of the car or vehicle industry.
After reviewing the entries, Steve Packer, Aftersales Manager at Group 1 BMW, selected Faith Green as the winner for her outstanding work. Her ideas and insights impressed the judges, showcasing a strong understanding of the industry’s future.
Faith said, "I was excited when I found out I won, I wasn’t expecting to win but I was so proud of myself! I’ve received so much support from my tutors whether it’s been in the workshop or in the classroom my tutors have supported me from day one helping me to understand the course. I would definitely recommend Motor Vehicle to other students, it’s a fun course with lots of practical lessons and college trips with experiences that I’ll never forget."
Mark Streeter, Deputy Head of Curriculum at East Sussex College, said, “Faith did a fantastic job, and we’re incredibly proud of her. This project was a great opportunity for students to engage with real-world industry trends and develop their research and presentation skills.”
Employer projects like this give students the chance to work on real challenges set by industry professionals, helping them prepare for their future careers. Congratulations to Faith and everyone who took part!
