The event, hosted by the Motor Vehicle department, gave students the chance to come together, look back on their achievements, and cheer each other on. Every student who attended received a certificate of achievement from the college.
Students were also given the opportunity to vote for their own ‘Students’ Student of the Year’, with Fred Catley receiving the nomination from his classmates.
A number of students were also nominated by staff for the title of Student of the Year, including Kevin Phillip, Harrison Rolfe, Thomas Stepney, Faith Green, and Bobby Smith - all recognised for their commitment, progress and attitude throughout the course.
One lucky student even went home with a mini Harley motorcycle, adding an extra surprise to a day full of celebration!
Mark Streeter, Deputy Head of Curriculum for Motor Vehicle, said: “It was fantastic to celebrate the students’ achievements and hard work across the year. We’re really proud of the progress they’ve made and the skills they’ve developed.”
The presentation marked the end of another successful year for Motor Vehicle students at ESC Eastbourne, many of whom are now preparing to take their next steps in the industry or continue their training at the college.
