Every year, the College proudly supports National Apprenticeship Week to highlight the benefits of on-the-job training and help young people make informed choices about their future after school or college.
This year’s theme, ‘Skills for Life,’ focuses on how apprenticeships equip individuals with the knowledge and expertise needed for fulfilling careers while helping employers build a workforce ready for the future. The campaign unites everyone passionate about apprenticeships to celebrate their value, opportunities, and impact.
Katie Parris, Account Manager at East Sussex College, shared her enthusiasm for National Apprenticeship Week, saying, “This campaign is a brilliant way to spark conversations about apprenticeships and the opportunities they provide.
“Apprenticeships offer the perfect balance of earning while learning, making them an excellent choice for anyone looking to launch or advance their career. Gaining practical experience in a workplace alongside your studies can accelerate your professional growth and open up exciting new opportunities. Whether it’s your first step into work or a fresh start, apprenticeships are all about building valuable skills and gaining real-world experience.”
Throughout National Apprenticeship Week, the College will be sharing apprentice success stories across all social channels via @WeAreESCG. Keep an eye out and make sure you use #NAW2025 in any relevant posts you share!
