Armistice Day events took place at each campus, with a two-minute silence which was respectfully observed, as ESC students and staff paused to remember fallen war heroes and ensure they are not forgotten.
The College’s Hastings campus hosted a Remembrance Parade on 14th November. Classes watched from their floors and from the Atrium, as Public Services students paid their respects.
Rebecca Conroy, CEO & Principal, said, “Our annual Remembrance Day ceremony at Station Plaza holds a significant place in the East Sussex College schedule, and it's a source of pride for us to commemorate this moment through another meaningful service.
“We are delighted to have, once more, hosted former military guests at the Remembrance parade, along with the participation of our dedicated staff and students across all campuses. Together, we honour the memory of the brave heroes who sacrificed for us, ensuring they remain in our thoughts.”
