Students invited to Audi workshop

Level 2 Motor Vehicle students at East Sussex College Eastbourne were invited to Audi’s Eastbourne dealership last week to work with technicians and gain first hand, industry-level experience.

The Motor Vehicle department has formed close links with Audi’s Eastbourne dealership over the last few years, and this provided students with an opportunity to work with their technicians in a busy workshop.

Level 2 Motor Vehicle students were able to assist with a variety of day-to-day tasks including, MOT’s, services and pre-delivery inspections of new vehicles.

Mark Streeter, Motor Vehicle lecturer at East Sussex College Eastbourne, said, “It has been a fantastic opportunity for students to see how their course links into the workings of such a prestigious dealership. I would like to thank Peter Smith, the aftersales director, for organising this incredible experience.”
