On Armistice Day, students and staff united for a two-minute silence, taking time to reflect on the courage and sacrifice of those who served. The moment of silence, observed simultaneously across campuses, highlighted the College community’s respect and remembrance.
At the Hastings campus, a special Remembrance Parade took place on Tuesday morning. Public Services students led the ceremony with pride and precision, as fellow students, staff, and pupils from local secondary schools gathered in the Atrium and along the upper floors to pay their respects.

Rebecca Conroy, CEO & Principal of East Sussex College, said: “Remembrance Day holds deep meaning for our College community. It’s an opportunity for us all to pause and reflect on our shared history. We are proud to see our students and staff uphold this important tradition together.”
