World-selling author and founder of Solutions Mindset, Steve Sallis, took the time to visit ESC’s Station Plaza campus to speak to over 170 students about the world of mental conditioning.
Steve’s work is widely respected among elite sports stars, proven in his current role with England’s U15 football team. He also works alongside several Premier League and EFL footballers, and supports them with mental conditioning and high performance training.
Throughout the valuable seminar, students were encouraged to ‘make up their own mind’ and ‘step out of their own thoughts’, with a view of seeing things from a different perspective. Students were also asked to evaluate the importance of; happiness or money, character or calibre, and confidence or competence.
Dan Glover, ESC Hastings Student Experience Coordinator said, “It was great for students to not only hear from such a fantastic speaker, but also engage and think for themselves about a variety of topics, whilst also getting them to link it back to their own course and their own career aspirations.
“Students left enthusiastic and carried on the conversation outside of the seminar, with students praising Steve about his engagement.”
