The ‘My Town’ competition theme revolved around local architectural views, buildings, favourite places or landmarks from the towns of Lewes, Eastbourne or Hastings.
Winners of the competition include Jessica Taylor, 12, and Matilda Lane, 11. Meanwhile, the runners-up are Erin Poat, 13, and Eve King, 11. East Sussex College Hastings Art Foundation student, Ella Hague, 19, has been crowned the winner of the senior category.
The three successful winners will receive a £100 gift voucher each, with the runners-up to be awarded with a £50 gift voucher. Winners and runners-up will also receive a print copy of Stephen's 'Luxury Coffee Table Book' piece.
Winners will also have an opportunity to visit Stephen Wiltshire face-to-face in London!
Nigel Ryan, Creative Partnerships Coordinator at East Sussex College, said, “The Stephen Wiltshire ‘My Town’ art competition is now over and successful entries have been selected.
“Due to an overwhelmingly high standard of work from Downlands School in Hassocks the judges have chosen four pieces of artwork by their students. I’d like to say a big thank you to all those who entered the competition.”
Successful entrants will be receiving their prizes very soon. For any questions or queries, please contact Nigel.Ryan@escg.ac.uk.
