East Sussex College has signed a deal to become Eastbourne Town Football Club’s Main Club Partner for the 2026/27 season.

This exciting collaboration marks the beginning of a new chapter for both organisations, bringing together football, education and community to create meaningful opportunities for young people across the region.

The partnership will focus on supporting the next generation both on and off the pitch, with plans to develop initiatives that connect sport, learning and career pathways.

Rebecca Conroy, CEO & Principal of East Sussex College, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be partnering with Eastbourne Town Football Club as their Main Club Partner for the 2026/27 season. At East Sussex College, we are passionate about creating opportunities that inspire and support young people, and this partnership allows us to do exactly that through sport, education and community engagement. We look forward to working closely with the club to make a real impact both on and off the pitch.”

Dave Shearing, Eastbourne Town Football Club Chairman, said: “This partnership is about creating real opportunities for young people in our community while strengthening the connection between football and education. East Sussex College shares our vision for development and accessibility, and together we can provide meaningful pathways that benefit both students and the wider community.”

The new partnership is a significant opportunity to strengthen links between education and grassroots sport, supporting wider community engagement and creating pathways for students to explore careers within the sports and leisure industries.

More announcements are expected over the summer as the partnership develops, with both organisations already exploring new opportunities ahead of the first whistle of the 2026/27 season.

East Sussex College is also looking forward to getting behind the team at The Saffrons, supporting Eastbourne Town FC throughout the 2026/27 season.
