During this two-year course, we'll give you a thorough introduction to the world of Fine Art.
You will develop a whole host of creative skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, 3D installation, photography, and film.
We will then help you build confidence in developing your ideas, encourage you as you experimenting with different materials, techniques and processes, and then guide you so you can present your work in an informed and meaningful way.
An Art related GCSE grade 4 or an assessed portfolio of work.,Our general entry requirements to study 3 A-Levels or any mixed level 3 programme are: 5 GCSEs grade 4-9 including English Language and/or Maths at grade 5. Subject specific entry criteria may also apply. Our general entry requirements to study 4 A-Levels are: 6 GCSEs grade 4-9 including English Language and Maths at grade 6. Subject specific entry criteria may also apply.
You will be assessed through portfolio presentation, individual research, and personal development and concepts.
Once you have completed this course, you will achieve an A-Level in Fine Art.
Once you have completed this course, you will be ready to progress onto our Foundation Diploma in Art & Design or start our BA (Hons) Fine Art degree course at the University Centre Hastings.
Once you have finished your studies, you will be able to start a career as an artist, a sculptor, an illustrator, a graphic designer, a curator, a photographer, or a teacher.
There may be some additional costs to cover specialist materials and exhibitions.
