This qualification covers all the patisserie and confectionery skills and knowledge needed for a successful career as a pastry chef
You will demonstrates the specialist knowledge and skills you have developed by producing desserts, puddings, biscuits, bread, display pieces and decorative items other patisserie and confectionery items
Successful completion of the Level 2 course, and English and maths GCSE at grade 4.
Your skills and knowledge will be assessed through a range of methods such as practical assessments, written unit papers and assignments. You will create a portfolio of evidence.
Level 3 Diploma in Professional Patisserie and Confectionery
These qualifications can help you to progress in your career as a pastry chef.
You will need to purchase a set of Chef’s Whites and front of house uniform which will include safety shoes, your own knife set, at a cost of approximately £200.00 if you are progressing you will already have most of this. (If you require any financial advice or guidance, please contact our Student Services department).
Materials fees of £30.00 for L3 Practical cookery text book will be required. Costs can be variable for some items.
