Beauty Therapy Level 2

During the course you will learn a range of treatments including manicure, pedicure, waxing, facials, eyelash and brow services. You will also complete units in health and safety and client care and communication. The course will provide you with a full range of practical skills and knowledge which will equip you to seek employment within a salon or progress onto further training at level 3. Our salons are well equipped, bright and spacious and our teaching team have a wealth of industry knowledge, experience and expertise working in spas, salons and cruise ships. Two of our previous learners have competed in World Skills and been crowned the 'Best Beauty Therapist in the World' in 2017 and 2019.

What will I study?

If you like the idea of making people look and feel good then this is the course for you. The Level 2 Beauty Therapy course will provide you with all the basic treatments offered within industry. You will learn manicures, pedicures, facials, skin care, eyelash and eyebrow tinting, eyebrow shaping and waxing.

What previous qualifications or experience do I need?

Minimum four grade 3-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 1 course, and English and/or maths at grade 3.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through practical assessment and performance, portfolio of evidence, assignment or exam paper.

What qualification will I achieve?

Level 2 Certificate in Beauty Therapy

What can I do after completing this course?

Progression onto the Level 3 Beauty Therapy course is advised to further enhance your treatment and services portfolio therefore making you more employable.

Are there any extra costs?

Compulsory kit and uniform costs (estimated at £250)
