These are the basic skills required to become a professional beauty therapist, you will also learn supporting anatomy and physiology, health and safety and perform reception duties on our working reception.
Minimum four grade 3-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 1 course, and English and/or maths at grade 3.
On the VRQ diploma you will have on-going theory and practical assessments. You will receive both verbal and written feedback on the treatments that you perform and will work towards a final assessment for each unit of study. You will also complete theory assignments as you progress through the year.
City & Guilds Level 2 VRQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
After successful completion of this course you can go on to complete your beauty therapy qualifications and study the Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Beauty and Spa Therapy or you can study media make-up or hairdressing to add to your skills.
You will need a beauty therapy uniform and a kit, the cost for both of these is around £400
