What will I study?

You’ll explore seven units that introduce you to the world of art, design and media: You’ll work in studios, try out different techniques, and build a portfolio of creative work that reflects your journey.

What previous qualifications or experience do I need?

You will need to demonstrate an ability to achieve Level 1 English and maths by the end of the course through an initial assessment.

How will I be assessed?

Units 1–6: Assessed through your portfolio—no exams Unit 7: Final graded project (Pass, Merit, Distinction) Assessment includes sketchbooks, journals, photos, models, digital recordings, and presentations You’ll be supported throughout with feedback and guidance
