The job of being Cabin Crew or working in the aviation industry is a dream for many people Take advantage of this unique opportunity to gain two qualifications through one course. With a twin focus on introducing cabin crew and aviation operations skills, gain essential insights into what’s required to work for an airline or on the ground at an airport.
For to study this course you need to have English language and maths at a Grade 3 or above.
You will study a full range of knowledge and skills based units:
Health, safety and security in aviation
Effective communication and customer service
Airline emergency procedures
Passenger baggage procedures
Role of air cabin crew on board
Making passenger announcements on board an aircraft
Selling products and services to customers
Minimum four grade 3-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 1 course, and English and/or maths at grade 3.
You will be assessed through
Graded assignments and practical tasks
Portfolio of evidence
Level 2 Certificate in Cabin Crew
Level 2 Diploma in Aviation
You can progress onto:
Level 3 Introductory Diploma in Travel and Tourism
You will also be suitably trained for jobs with a travel agent or tour operator as well as working for a hotel or airline in a customer service role.
You will be required to attend a mandatory training day with an airline to cover essential practical skills
