During this course, you will develop the skills needed to examine, interpret, and analyse a variety of statistical data. You will measure the importance of tourism in the UK, learn about the different types of destinations and their importance, and investigate the features and appeal of global destinations.
You will learn more about customer service and explore ways of managing internal and external customer experiences to support organisational success. You will also have plenty of opportunities to develop and practise your customer service skills. Towards the end of the course, you will work on an assignment to identify a gap in the market for a new travel and tourism enterprise. You will develop a plan, a marketing strategy, and organise a pitch of the new idea to generate interest.
As part of the course, you have the option to complete an additional qualification in business travel which is one of the most prestigious career paths within the sector.

You will be assessed through written assignments, tasks, scenarios and various other non-exam based methods.
Once you have completed this course, you will achieve a Level 3 Certificate (Yr1) and Diploma (Yr2) in Travel and Tourism, awarded by NCFE.
Once you have finished this course, you will have enough UCAS points to progress to university. Degree courses could include travel and tourism, business, hotel management, or marketing.
