GCSE Results Day is a big moment. Your results might be exactly what you hoped for. They might be different from what you expected. Or they might make you rethink what you want to do next.
Whatever happens, you don't have to work it out on your own.
If you've applied to East Sussex College, we'll help you understand what your results mean for your course and get ready for enrolment.

Don't assume that means your plans are over. You may still be able to join your chosen course, or there may be another course or level that gets you where you want to go.

East Sussex College student Isaac was waiting for their GCSE results this time last year.
Isaac's advice now is to stop trying to predict every grade, have a plan for Results Day, avoid comparing your results with everyone else's and remember that there's more than one path to where you want to go.
Most importantly, Isaac says Results Day might feel huge in the moment, but it's still only one step in a much bigger journey.

Depending on the grade you've achieved and your circumstances, you'll continue to work towards your English and/or maths as part of your college programme.
