Choosing a college isn’t something you can do from a prospectus alone. The real decision happens when you walk through the doors, meet the people, and picture yourself here.
That’s why our college tours are one of the most important steps in the journey.
• Explore industry-standard facilities and creative spaces
• Meet tutors and support teams (including ALS/SEN specialists)
• Get a real feel for student life and the campus environment
• Ask questions about courses, progression, and career pathways
• Discover opportunities you might not have considered
Most students start by exploring their options. But after visiting, something changes.
• They can see themselves here.
• They feel confident.
• And that’s when decisions become much easier.

Thank you for the fantastic and thorough tour. Your college is really (really!) well equipped. It’s super creative and has a fantastic layout.
We haven’t found another art and design course in the area that includes properly equipped workshops, especially with technicians to support students using the machines.
The studio spaces feel like the real world – atmospheric, inspiring, and genuinely exciting. I run a creative studio myself, so I really understand the value in that. The range of facilities is commendable, and it actually reminded me of college, and I was worried places like this didn’t exist anymore.
The students were polite, helpful and happy. We’re really looking forward to coming back.
Thank you so much for taking the time to show us around. We actually didn’t mind it being quiet — it made the experience feel more personal.
It was so valuable for our daughter to meet the Film Studies teacher and to explore the different departments. We really feel this is a great college; there are so many opportunities for her to thrive and flourish.
She really enjoyed her visit and is very keen for Lewes to be her first choice.
Thank you as well for the reassurance about the ALS/SEN team, it’s comforting to know that support is there if she needs it.”
Many thanks again for the enthusiastic tour, we really enjoyed looking around. The campus felt very welcoming.
Learning more about the wider East Sussex College group also encouraged us to explore the other campuses too, which we hadn’t originally considered.
As we’re planning a move to the area this summer, it’s reassuring to know we have really strong options at ESC.
Thank you again, we’re really looking forward to joining the college.
We have plenty of free parking at our campuses in Eastbourne, Lewes, and Hastings Ore Valley and limited parking in Hastings Automotive Centre. There is no parking at our Hastings Station Plaza site, but local car parks are available nearby.
If you’d prefer to use public transport, then all of our campuses are located close to railway stations and are on the main bus routes in each town.
When you arrive to your chosen campus please sign in at the main reception. Our team will give you a 'Visitor Lanyard' to wear while you’re on campus. We’ll then meet you here and we’ll start your tour.
