Students from ESC Hastings' Health and Early Years programmes recently visited the Harry Potter Studios for an enriching educational experience. This unique trip provided valuable insights into designing child-friendly activities.
Loraine Amstad, Deputy Head of Curriculum for Business, Sport and Health at East Sussex College, said, “It enabled the students to have an insight into the production of Harry Potter and supported the early years students in designing activities that would be suitable for children in the early years focused around literacy and expressive arts and design.”
The visit to the iconic studio allowed students to explore how engaging content can be created for young audiences, particularly in the areas of literacy and expressive arts. By examining the magical world of Harry Potter, the students gained inspiration and practical ideas for crafting activities that captivate and educate young children.
