T-Level students collecting their results included Aiden Hill. Aiden studied as a T-Level Design, Planning and Development student and received a Merit. Aiden said, “I studied T-Level Design, Planning and Development and I achieved a Merit! I’m happy with my grades! What I’m doing next isn’t related to my course, I’m currently training to get my private pilot licence and then plan to start my scholarship to fly commercial. Support from tutors was great, especially from my tutor Matt. I’d recommend that others study this course, it’s great and informative.”

She revealed: “I got a Merit, which is what I thought I’d get so I’m happy! Following my results, I’ll be going into a trainee role with a company in Battle which I’m really excited about. She said, "We've had a fair bit to learn in the first six weeks, we've covered things like child development, behaviour, and also reflective practice. Industry placement scheme a success

Rebecca Conroy, principal of East Sussex College Eastbourne, hosted the evening, and identified the project as a precursor to a new government initiative coming in: T-Levels. “T-Levels will enable vocational and technical education to have the same parity as A-Levels, and this pilot project was developed with the rollout of T-Levels in this sector in 2021. By looking at high-level industry placement models - and early on - enables students to make decisions a lot earlier on about what they want to specialise in.”
